The firm is pleased to announce that Michael P. Atkinson and Walter D. Haskins were selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for 2012.  Mr. Atkinson is a trial lawyer with over 35 years of courtroom experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability and insurance bad faith cases.  Mr. Haskins is a trial lawyer with 31 years of courtroom experience.

Together, Mr. Atkinson and Mr. Haskins obtained one of the largest awards in Oklahoma history: a $44 million verdict in the case of Mackool v Medical Savings Insurance Company.

Atkinson, Haskins, Nellis, Brittingham, Gladd & Carwile is pleased to announce that on January 27, 2007, Mark W. Maguire was inducted into the membership of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA is a nationwide organization of trial lawyers representing both the plaintiff and defense which is dedicated to the preservation of the constitutional right of a jury trial. Membership is by invitation only and election based on active trial participation and courtroom experience as a trial lawyer.

Mr. Maguire, a shareholder of Atkinson, Haskins, Nellis, Brittingham, Gladd & Carwile, has substantial civil litigation experience related to products liability, premises liability, vehicular negligence, and other insurance related claims in both the Federal and State Courts in Oklahoma.
